Artist management by a working musician.

35 years in the Southeastern music scene. Close to 1,000 shows logged — and still on the road. Today I play bass in Tribute: A Celebration of The Allman Brothers Band, The Core, and Wolves, Lower; manage Allgood Music Company; and sit on the board of Amplify My Community. Before that, 250+ shows with The Bitteroots — bass and band management both. I've lived the contracts, the load-outs, the deal-making, and the late-night payouts. I live for live music — and I know what artists need from a manager because I'm one of them.

Bands We Book

Three working bands across the Southeast.

Each project is curated to find its own audience and sustain its own circuit.

Allgood Music Company

Allgood Music Company

Athens-born blues-rock veterans signed to A&M Records in the early '90s and chosen for the 2nd Annual 1993 H.O.R.D.E. tour alongside Blues Traveler, Widespread Panic, and Col. Bruce Hampton. An eight-year first run shared stages with Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Gov't Mule, The Band, Neil Young, and the Allman Brothers Band.

Today original members Corky Jones, Mike Sain, and Clay Fuller bring Georgia boogie-woogie back for select dates — anchoring 35-year reunion runs and a steady stream of regional shows. The catalog runs deep, the chemistry is intact, and the audiences haven't gone anywhere.

The Core

The Core

A H.O.R.D.E. Festival revival project built as a festival-style live experience. Multi-band bills, outdoor stages, faithful arrangements with room to improvise — pulling from the artists that defined the era: Blues Traveler, Spin Doctors, Widespread Panic, Black Crowes, Allman Brothers Band, Phish, Freddy Jones Band, Allgood, and many more from the iconic tours.

The Core is made up of some of Georgia's finest musicians, including Josh Carson (Acoustic Workshop, Parts & Labor), Bo Hembree (Dreams So Real, Diablo Sandwich), and Chris Queen (Allgood, Phil Keaggy, Dreams So Real). The band is powered by a seasoned rhythm section featuring Kevin Leahy (Bodeans, Sugarland, Shawn Mullins, Allgood, Zac Brown), Rob Sumowski (Allgood, Billy Pilgrim, Shawn Mullins, Kevn Kinney, Brent Cobb), and Bill Taylor (Tribute: A Celebration of The Allman Brothers Band, Jupiter Coyote, The Bitteroots). Harmonica master, David Fisch (Traveler's Blues, Urban Shakedancers) joins The Core on select dates. Former members also include Clay Fuller (Allgood), Wayne Healy (Freddy Jones Band).

Wolves, Lower

Wolves, Lower

A carefully constructed tribute to the formative years of R.E.M. — Murmur, Reckoning, Fables of the Reconstruction, Lifes Rich Pageant, Document. Authenticity, restraint, and the dynamics that defined the band's earliest live performances. Members include Kyle Bryant, Greg Sims, Bill Taylor (formerly The Bitteroots), Michael Beavers (Moody Hollow), and Mike Killeen.

Other band commitments keep the schedule small — just a handful of shows each year — but every appearance is a deep exploration of the R.E.M. catalog and treated as a real event.

Why this works

I've lived what every band on this roster lives.

I've worked with Allgood Music Company for over a decade, and previously handled all artist management for The Bitteroots for more than 15 years. The common thread across every project: long-term thinking, respect for the craft, and a deep understanding of what it takes to make live music work — artistically and professionally.

Today I work closely with three active projects — Allgood Music Company, The Core, and Wolves, Lower — allowing for hands-on involvement, thoughtful strategy, and sustainable growth. I'm still on stages most weekends, and that perspective stays with me at every desk-side decision.

From the outside: Bill has spent 35 years inside the Southeast live-music economy — as a working bassist across three active bands, as longtime manager of Allgood Music Company, as both 250-show bassist and full-time manager during The Bitteroots' 15+ year run, and as a board member at Amplify My Community, the Atlanta nonprofit putting live music to work for causes that matter. The throughline is plain: he's still on stages most weekends, doing the work he asks every band on this roster to trust him with.
